Does an extended warranty on a laptop cover the screen burning out?

I just got a laptop and I've been on it A LOT and most of the time I'm plugged in and charging. From what I've read this is bad for the battery but not the screen; is it? and does it count as negligence on my part if the screen does burn out(a.k.a is it covered under an extended warranty)?
