Help with my book/story please?

I'm writing a book that has to do with demigods and in the beginning, Aphrodite's daughter is taking the main character, Athena's daughter to a place where they will learn to use their god-like powers. First of all, even though Athena has battle strategy and wisdom, are there any physical godly powers she could've ped onto her daughter, like telekenesis or mind reading or controlling. Also, if they were training to use their powers, would they go to mount Olympus. I thought that would be the best choice, but I don't know how they would get up there. I feel like climbing Mt. Olympus wouldn't be something a demigod would do. would it be rediculous to put something like pegasus into the book? Thank you! :)
