Are Open Ended Requirements Legal?

Melaleuca has the following statement in their contract for selling their products: " I will not offer Melaleuca products for sale via the Internet or other form of nationally available media. This obligation will continue even after my Customer Membership Agreement is terminated." Is it legal to have this type of indefinate restriction?
