How did birds get in there?

I went over to the Grocery store a little bit ago and noticed there were two birds flying up in the rafters. How did that get in there and more importantly, WHY are they in there in the first place? My theory is that they're the ones stealing all the flaming hot cheetos and that's why the store is always out. Thoughts?
