People think others are weird if they actually want to get there work done?

So many teenagers are such know it alls ( not everyone just some ive noticed) What i dont get is how kids think its so uncool to want to do well in school. Why would you want to slack off which could end up making you failing a cl which youll then have to go through another year of that cl. It doesnt make sense to me. It seems like teens dont realize that even what they are doing now is going to effect whats happens later somehow. Sometimes in cl, i'll even start working on work that is for tomorrow because well i dont feel like having a homework weekend hah. Even all these guys who are all about partying on the weekend and goin out, how do they expect to be seen as how they are in high school (popular, hot, cool) later on in life, if they are such slackers. I know people do start to grow up after they hit 20, but still i wish there were more teenagers who could realize this. I'm not trying to be a know it all or anything, (thats the last thing i want to be)
