Taking 10mg prednisone for scarlet fever can it?

can taking prednisone make u not want to sleep? I been up 24hrs now and cant sleep.. the doc gave me a shot yesterday morning at 9 then 8 hours later took 2 as i was told to.. is there a way i can go to sleep cuz at 7am I have to take 2 more an i want to sleep bad
