I am stuck in my story. The part ends with the oldest immortal girl leaving her house with one of her old friends from her homeland (also immortal, if you haven't gathered that already). The new immortal is in her bedroom with her human friend whom she just revealed herself to. At first i was thinking about making the old friend actually like a henchman for the antagonist, but it would be weird for the newly turned immortal to have to save the experienced, magic, 200 year old immortal that close to the beginning. It will happen eventually, but she has to be trained first. Another idea i had was from the humans POV, something like "A few weeks had gone by since i found out about _______." I thought it might work, but i'm just not sure if that would be the best way to go. Any help?

so this girl (Lauren) i met over 2 years ago and have been dating for almost 6 months now.she is AMAZING! probably one of the most amazing people you would ever meet. Lauren suffers from Pulmonary Hypertension and this past year her PH has gotten worst. (pulmonary hypertension is where you have high blood presser in your heart making it difficult to pump blood into the lungs to become oxygenated. she can barley walk from cl to cl without getting to tired. it is not only rare but incurable and life threatening.) for the last week she has been in the hospital because of her PH. Seeing her in the hospital, makes me feel horrible i cant take it. its not fare that she has to go through this. I honestly don't know how much longer i can take it. I don't know how to be there for her. how would you be there for someone that is going through something like this?

I think I lost my loach because I treated the entire tank with quick cure rather than individual fish. I started out with about 12 fish that were glancing. My first treatment and 20% water change was last Sunday, then Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday. I had no idea that quick cure depletes the oxygen in the water (clowns are very sensitive). This past month prior to treating with quick cure, I lost 2 pregnant female guppies and 1 female Sunburst platy. After the quick cure I lost my clown loach. 4 fish in 1 month. Needless to say a lot of crying. (yes I cry every time I loose a fish). I knew my sunburst female was sick. For 2 weeks I thought her behavior meant she was pregnant. I have a male sunburst as well. Then after further research I decided she may have had clamped fins. I treated her 3 times then on Sunday the whole tank with the quick cure. She died the next day. My loach died this morning. I have done 6 days of 20% water changes and I can't get my nitrate, nitrites, and ammonia levels normal. I have used almost 6 oz of prime. This afternoon, (Sunday - 7 days later) I noticed about 5 of my fish started glanicing again. Should I retreat my whole tank or just the fish. Also, prior to last weekend I have had heavy leaf loss on my live plants so I used aquarium safe liquid plant food for the first time in my aquarium. i use 1 tablespoon of tropical salt every water change as well as heavy vacuuming. I am at a loss of what to do. I have a new - pre-owned 55 gallon aquarium. How do I set the aquarium up and transfer the fish with all of these problems or is this the best time? This morning prior to my water change was the first morning my levels read perfect or normal and then 8 hours later they are spiked again. What is going on?

There's nothing wrong with the test, the thing that bothers you is that you don't want your child to have a needle in his arm. This is kind of a new test that some Dr's are recommending. At 1 year old Dr wants to know what is the health of your baby and just wants to know if he maybe has anemia, remember that at 1 year babies can start eating many things and Dr can recommend a good diet. Those are rutinary tests, there's nothing to worry about. If you don't him to test then talk to your Dr and ask the reasons why he thinks the test must be done. When my daughter was born she had jaundice and had to be put under the lights, the took blood everyday for 5 days and she was 3 days old. I cried more than she did, she barely fussed, so relax a bit.

I always suspected my son had some aspect of ADD/ADHD - After much frustration with the schools/teachers, he was diagnosed with mild ADD - Attentive Feature. Teachers and schools have done nothing to address the problem and have subtly pushed for medication. I have tried dietary changes - no sugar, no preservatives or food additives, as well as giving supplements and while his attention and ability to concentrate/ focus may have improved minimally, he continues to struggle at school. He is too smart to qualify for help - he scores within the average range on his tests, and yet can't function within the clroom. His teachers don't help only telling me what he can't do. I have conferenced with them on strategies to help him overcome his weaknesses and capitalizing on his strengths, but nothing is working. I am not the kind of parent who doles out medications freely, but I'm at a loss as to what to do. My naturopath would be flabergasted that I'm even considering meds.

So, I have a predicament. My MoH is presently married. Sytem resttore ruined my laptop?

Do you have the recovery disc? I am uming that you tried to do a full system restore to factory settings. If you had the recovery disc and used it all should be well again. I was fixing a very old laptop computer that had XP on it and when I did a system restore on it, it did the same thing. I tried to use a recovery disc that just had XP on it (bad idea btw, but I had no other choice) and that did the same thing that it did on your computer. I ended up using a recovery disc that had vista on it and that seemed to fix it. XP seems to be a pain in the to do a system restore if you don't have your recovery disc. You might be able to order a recovery disc from the manufacturer, but if it is not in warranty, they'll probably charge you.

Sudden Lip Swelling & Blisters???!!!?

Computer help! Blue screen and automatically restarts, but can only use in safe mode. What do I do?

I have a dell laptop with Windows Vista. I turn my computer on and it'll come on for a few seconds and then a blue screen pops up, but not really long enough for me to read all of it then it automatically restarts. If I start it up in Safe Mode or Safe Mode with networking it will turn on. So then I tried my Symantec Endpoint Protection (Antivirus) software and it says Warning in the Antivirus section, but it won't let me do anything about it. Now, I have a... I think the best idea is to get her neutered and then let her go back to being a stray cat if you can't take her in. Good Breed as First Horse?

I personally do not like ponies, I have nothing against people who do, but My experience is that ponies are often bratty. I AM NOT saying that all ponies are but I would much rather have a full-sized horse than to hunt down every pony I see for sale looking for the one that behaves. Your size really shouldn't matter, I am 5'6" and I have two 15 hand horses, a 14.3 mare, and a filly that will mature to around 15.3, and the pony cut off is at 14.1 hands. I would recommend a stock type horse like a Quarter horse, Paint, or an Appaloosa. If yoiu really want a pony I would recommend a Quarter pony cuz they tend to be more level-headed. Hope I helped =)

Me and 2 other college roomates are in the process of having a lawsuit against us by our former landlord and her insurance company for damages caused by a pipe bursting during the winter break because they claim we left a window open and turned our heat off, which I am positive we did not and I am not even sure how they would prove we did. I contacted my roommate to ask what he was doing about the situation. He then told me that he was the one who turned off the heat in our living room, and that he has told that to our landlord's attorney in his answer to the complaint. Do they have a case against me? If I was not the negligent person AND he admitted to his negligence how could they hold me at fault?

Am i using a home pregnancy test too early?

my periods are pretty irrigular. my last period started around the 11th of december and finished on the 16th. i had unprotected on the 18th (well he pulled out but i know that doesn't really make a difference), anyway, i worked out my period should have been due around about yesterday. i've been getting the usual dodgy stomach that i normally get before my period starts but apart from that, nothing. yesterday, i used a home pregnancy test from superdrug which says it gives you a result 4 days before a missed period, it was negative. is it likely that my periods are just late or could i still be pregnant and i'm just testing too early? i've read on some internet sites that it's ok to test a fortnight after unprotected - it's been 24 days since i had it, but then other places say you should wait longer. any help would be appreiated, thanks.

I'm writing a book that has to do with demigods and in the beginning, Aphrodite's daughter is taking the main character, Athena's daughter to a place where they will learn to use their god-like powers. Further investigation of these cases resulted in the identification of two main synoptic patterns coincident with pneumonia front events. ysis suggests that these synoptic patterns are necessary but not sufficient in the forecasting of the pneumonia front phenomenon. Mesoscale controls of pneumonia front events were examined through the use of a simple model, and sensitivity simulations of a specific event (17 July 2003) using the PSU-NCAR mesoscale model (MM5). The simple advection model showed the following: reduced roughness over a north-south lake allows for stronger impact in the southern lake and shoreline; zonal and northwest-southeast cold fronts are more conducive for pneumonia front cases; and colder lake temperatures in the north increase the near-shore temperature gradient and frontal propagation. The results of the MM5 sensitivity tests suggested the following in regards to the 17 July 2003 pneumonia front: orography had little influence on pneumonia front generation and maintenance; temperature falls relating to the pneumonia front were strongly dependent upon landm diurnal heating; and Lake Michigan surface water temperatures impacted pneumonia front strength. The insights gained from this research should allow operational forecasters to reliably ess the likelihood of pneumonia front events in the short-range.

I doubt very much that the pain I am having is testicle tortion because the left testicle is lower than the right and testicle tortion is meant to have the testicle with pain to be lower than the other. These pains do not occur rarely but not commonly either. It is pain in my left testicle (pain occurs randomly and hurts more when touched on surface or round the back of the testicle. I was just wondering because I am only 15 and puberty only started for me June this year (2009), and armpit hair is under arms (ish), has grown, hormones, and so on whether it is just growing pains because I can tell that the left testicle is a bit bigger than the right testicle. My right testicle seemed to have had the same sort of pain but less painful the other day, as in it was growing pains. Hi, I need some good advice on what i should do,In 2007 i decided enough was enough , i had put up with a controlling abusive marriage for over 24 years, I spoke for the very first time to my controlling husband would he like to get help for his sudden out bursts he thought about it he said no, so i did the very next thing i should of done years ago, i said to him in a very calm voice, then you must rather leave, as i felt it was so important that the children start learning good values, there father is very controlling if my spouse and i argued he would share it with the children turning them against me, this went on for years, when my third son was born he drank all night after work, coming home late in the morning reeking of alcohol, we started sleeping in seperate rooms eventually but he did that before we immigrated to australia from south africa 11 years ago, when i moved to australia we had our third child, wrong timing to give a controlling man a baby on my part, my son is no mistake, my son is everything to me but it was a wrong move on my part, wrong timing we fought constantly about money and life in general every day was a battle ground, i had several nervous breakdowns ending up in hospital for a couple of months he jet setted of up country to work, my eldest son of 25 now had to take care of the children while i was in hospital, he was 19 then,to cut the story short, my spuse is back after working up country for a few years and now we are seperated, my question he is still controlling his opinion about how things should be and shouldn't be concerning my little boy, he constantly harres me when my little boy wants to hire a game his dad says no he says you play to much t.v games, my little boy says but daddy i am lonely i have know one to play with thats when i come into the picture i see my childs need and voice my say only to get my head bitten off, my son doesnt love his dad or doesnt want to be with his dad , that made his daddy angry when my little boy said he doesnt want to be with his daddy to my spouse now my spouse manipulates him and says well then you dont come to my house or wants callum to go home to me by himself in a taxi, i am outraged at this , he often leaves his son in the apartment when he goes down to the laundry in the apartment downstairs when i am not there,my little boy is only 7 years, i constantly phone him on the weekends he is with his dad, just to see he isnt alone, i am very worried , i dont work i get a disability grant from centrelink,i have to constantly watch myself what i say as i ended up with a mental breakdown, my little boy has no issues with me as i am always there to comfort him.What can i do to stop my abusive controlling spouse as i said my divorce is sometime this year due to financial reasons,My spouse constantly controls and confuses his little boy, i dont know what else to do i feel so helpless.. Another thing i am always encouraging my son to love his dad...but my son doesnt see it that way, i am hurting because my spouse is manipulating his little boy to his way of thinking, my second eldest was also very close to me but my husband didnt appreciate that either, coming here my son ended up taking drugs at 9 years and only coming right 2 years ago at 20 years, i never knew about that, if only he came to me about it he would drink aswell just like his dad, i remembered he said i would steal a drink from my dads cupboard, now i have my third to worry about what do you suggest!!!!

They are transparent tracing papers and they sell them in rolls or already cut into certain sizes. Did my engine have sludge problems?

I saw my 7.5Liter V8 engine without the heads on it because I am getting new headgaskets. While mesmorized of the size of the engine etc, I put my hand on a couple of the pistons, and on the tops of them, there was a pretty descent layer of gritty oil on all of them, I dont know if that was normal or not. Since I have had the engine (since 2006) I do regular oil changes with Mobile 1 synthetic oil, so I dont think I would have been the cause of any sludge problems, and the truck didnt have any sludge like symtoms, but I was still curious though if this was normal or not. I mean, I cant imagine a engine would run too efficiently with that extra film of oil on top of the pistons. Could this maybe even require having to change the pistons out if they have been damaged over the years, or am I over reacting?

But these very same Christians would never tolerate situations that some of us have had to. I feel that a husband who is indifferent to his own child, and refuses to contribute his half to the expenses of the family and chooses to gamble and to go on vacations with friends instead of spending time with his family is a man who is a terrible example for his child and is not committed to the marriage. Many Christians will tell you to get counseling and pray and God will heal the marriage. First of all, not every man is willing to go for counseling, and going alone really doesn't benefit the marriage - believe me, I've spent hundreds on counseling and it has helped little. I have prayed for over 17 years, and have remained in a marriage that never really was a true marriage, and now have a teen son who feels very unloved, bitter, inferior because of indifference from dear ole' dad. That is NOT what God would have wanted for me and for my son! I should have never listened to those self-righteous know-it-alls. Please, use your own good judgement when it comes to the future of your child. If your children are young, and you are in a marriage that you know will only continue to bring unhappiness and chaos, leave and have no regrets.

I normally work as a stocker, but I have been called up to work the register all this weekend because of increased customer traffic. I was at the Speedy Checkout this weekend and I have had at least 2 people come through with items over the limit! One customer had 41 items, according to the receipt print-out. How can I get my Wii to get a better wi-fi signal?

I just got a wireless router for my internet so that I could play Monster Hunter Tri Online. I set it all up and was able to get online but about an hour later my Wii said it lost the wi-fi signal and disconnected. I have moved it so that it is higher up on a wooden bookshelf (It is sorrounded by books which might block the signal but only a little). It is not to close to any metal, and my Wii is under the wireless router and a little in front of it. There is a cordless phone near the router which I heard may mess with the signal but there is a bookshelf between the router and it. How do I get over my fear of being a mom?

I'm only 18 years old , and a few days ago I found out that I was pregnant. Of course , this is an unplanned pregnancy. I'm still in school , and won't graduate until I'm 19. I have never ever wanted to be a mother; I find pregnancy quite weird. The body changes, the human being growing in your stomach... it's all so weird for me. Which aperture is best for portrait photography?

I've been taking pictures of couples/families, etc and I'm having trouble with which f/stop to use. Sometimes, both people are at the same distance from the camera (they are next to each other), but the camera seems to focus on only one person. DOF is supposed to be in distance from front to back, right? And not side-to-side? I ussualy shoot on Aperture Priority Mode and my camera is a Nikon D40, with a Nikkor 18-200mm lense. It seems as if I need to use at least f6 or more (f8, 9...) for both people to be in focus. However, this does not always blur the background as much as I would want. Could this be because the D40 only has 3 focus areas? I asked a professional photographer and she told me f4 would be fine... but once on the computer, I see that someone is out of focus... Also, when shooting two or more people, where on the subject should I look the focus area? Any help would be good! Thanks!

Ok our cat is pregno. And remember--all people have problems, we just don't all deal with them the same ways.
